Un crucero de lujo chocó contra un embarcadero en el puerto egipcio de Sharm el-Sheikh en el Mar Rojo, provocando la muerte de tres tripulantes, según fuentes oficiales.

“En tierra pudimos ver un agujero en el barco y una hendidura a lo largo de todo el casco (…) muchos pasajeros se peleaban por meterse en los autobuses, no vi ningún tripulante que nos guiara”, añadió.
En un comunicado, la naviera Costa Cruises propietaria del barco declaró que “los huéspedes han sido desembarcados y están siendo alojados en hoteles de la zona”.
Testigos afirman que el barco se vio afectado por fuertes vientos por la noche y que el choque dejó un agujero de dos metros de ancho.
El Costa Europa se dirigía de Dubai hasta la ciudad italiana de Savona, en un viaje que debía de durar 18 días.
